Coby Wins Double Gold at 2015 Keystone Classic ProAm Racquetball Tournament

Winnipeg, Manitoba....February 15, 2015...Coby Iwaasa from Lethbridge, Alberta took on all challengers at the 41st annual Keystone Classic held at the Duckworth Centre at the University of Winnipeg.  Players from Alberta, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Columbia competed for the top racquetball titles.  Iwaasa took the Men's gold in the Men's Pro Singles Division by defeating Alejandro Herrera from Columbia: 11-7, 11-8, 11-9.  Iwaasa also teamed up with Herrera to defeat Trevor Webb and Lee Connell in the finals and capture the Men's doubles open title: 15-5, 15-7.   This tournament is an international racquetball tournament (IRT) event.

Iwaasa is planning on qualifying for the 2015 Canadian Pan Am Games Racquetball team to be hosted by Canada in Toronto in July.  Iwaasa is a member of the Canadian National Elite Racquetball Team and is currently ranked #3 in Canada.  Iwaasa is also the current U18 Junior Boys National Champion.
