2013 Alberta Sports Awards

Coby Iwaasa of Lethbridge, Alberta has been selected as the 2012 Junior Male Athlete of the Year based on his outstanding performance in 2012. The Alberta Athlete of the Year program was created in 2002 by the Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation (ASRPWF) to recognize the achievements of the province’s amateur athletes and this is the first time in the history of the award that a racquetball player has been selected. The presentation was made at the 2013 Alberta Sports Awards Banquet on Friday, April 19th at the Banff Centre. Congratulations Coby! We are very proud of you and your accomplishments in racquetball over the past year!
