Good News from Sherwood Park

It's now official that Glen Allan is going to have a fourth court added, new glass back walls, new lighting, and other various upgrades to the existing Recreation Complex in Sherwood Park. To see the plans click here .  When complete GARC will have the capability of four racquetball and four squash (2 being convertible) and give us the ability to host provincial and national tournaments in Sherwood Park. 

Through the County of Strathcona Public Engagement Process the racquetball and handball community were very involved in attending meetings and influencing their decision. It goes to show that if we get involved early in the process we do have some input, similar to how we influence LA Fitness to build racquetball courts at their new facility in west Edmonton.
